Magpie Cottage is a fully self-contained, four bedroom house in Pooncarie with the Darling River acting as the rear boundary. The cottage can sleep up to eight people in comfort, in four bedrooms all in single beds with two bathrooms. The cottage is fully furnished throughout and has refrigerated air conditioning located in the lounge room and another in the master bedroom, as well as evaporative air conditioning on the roof. The heating is wood fired slow combustion heater which can warm up the majority of the cottage in winter. The main bedroom has its own ensuite with the second bedroom adjacent and the main bathroom close by. The third and fourth bedrooms are located at the rear of the cottage. Outside is a rumpus room which has dart board, table- tennis table, barbecue, fridge and freezer as well as an outdoor area overlooking the Darling River.
